Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Educator Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Position: RN – Nurse Educator (Maternal Child Health) Location: Brooklyn, New York Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Schedule: 5 Days per Week (Day Shift) Important Requirements: Strong Labor & Delivery experience required (Minimum 2 years) Candidate will support education across MCH units including: Labor & Delivery (L&D) NICU Mother Baby Unit (MBU) Pediatrics Master's in Education strongly preferred Assignment will NOT extend beyond the original 13 weeks Required Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program Required Certifications & Licensure: Active New York State RN License Primary Source Verification of RN License from NYS Department of Education (NYSED) AHA BLS Certification Key Responsibilities: Provide clinical education and training for staff across Maternal Child Health units Support education initiatives for Labor & Delivery, NICU, Postpartum, and Pediatrics Assist with staff competency development, training programs, and clinical guidance Ensure evidence-based practices and patient safety standards are followed Additional Notes: Candidate must have strong clinical L&D background to support multiple MCH departments Education and training role supporting nursing staff and clinical teams No contract extension available beyond 13 weeks HonorVet Technologies Job ID 32090091.
