The high school division offers Advanced Placement (AP) courses to prepare students for admission to top universities worldwide. We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable AP History teacher to join our humanities faculty, fostering critical thinking, historical reasoning, and cross-cultural understanding
【Key Responsibilities】
1. Teaching & Instruction
• Teach one or more AP History courses (AP United States History, AP World History: Modern, and/or AP European History), ensuring alignment with the College Board curriculum framework.
• Develop engaging, inquiry-based lesson plans that develop students’ historical thinking skills—including causation, comparison, continuity and change over time, and argumentation.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners in a multilingual classroom setting.
2. Curriculum & Assessment
• Design and implement formative and summative assessments aligned with AP standards.
• Regularly analyze student performance data to adjust instructional strategies and provide targeted interventions.
• Prepare students for AP examinations, including exam review sessions and skill-building workshops.
3. Student Support & Advising
• Provide academic support and mentorship to students, including one-on-one writing conferences and office hours.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for growth.
4. Collaboration & Professional Development
• Collaborate with the humanities department and international teaching team on curriculum alignment, interdisciplinary projects, and school-wide initiatives.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and parent-teacher conferences.
• Maintain active communication with the College Board regarding AP course audits, updates, and training.

【Qualifications & Requirements】
Education
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in History, History Education, or a related field.
Certification & Experience
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching AP History
• Familiarity with the College Board AP course audit process and AP exam administration is highly preferred.
