We are seeking a driven entry-level Associate Territory Sales Representative (Ophthalmology). This role provides essential retinal disease state and product education to optometrists and ophthalmologists to help them recognize patients affected with retinal disease.

What will you be doing?
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with ophthalmologists, retina specialists, and office staff
• Deliver clear and compliant product and disease state education to healthcare providers
• H ost speaker programs and marketing symposiums, represent Apellis at state association congress meetings
• Build strong knowledge of assigned products, including mechanism of action, indication, and key clinical data
• Apply knowledge of the healthcare industry, market trends, and compliance guidelines in daily interactions
• Ask strategic questions to understand customer needs and tailor communication effectively
• Execute territory plans and support sales goals through consistent activity and follow-up
• Collaborate closely with internal business partners to share insights and drive overall team success
What do you need for this position?
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 1–2 years of B2B sales experience
• Pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed goals
• Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed in a sales environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to travel overnight if required
