In need of an experienced Tax Preparer to provide immediate support throughout the rest of tax season. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who can step in quickly, work independently, and manage a high volume of complex returns in a fast-paced public accounting environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for individuals and business entities Prepare S Corporation (Form 1120S) returns, including K-1s Ensure compliance with current tax laws and firm standards Analyze financial statements, trial balances, and supporting documentation Identify tax issues, discrepancies, and planning opportunities Meet strict filing deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy Collaborate with managers and partners as needed on complex engagements Requirements & Qualifications: 5+ years of public accounting or relevant tax preparation experience Strong knowledge of federal and state income tax regulations Ability to handle a high volume of work during peak season Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency with professional tax software and Microsoft Excel Experience in a mid-to-large CPA firm environment CPA or EA designation (or progress toward certification) Strong communication skills and professionalism with clients and staff #J-18808-Ljbffr TBG | The Bachrach Group
