Stand-Up Forklift Operator – 3PL Distribution & Logistics – Baytown, TX
Pay Rate:
• $18.00/hr
We are hiring experienced Stand-Up Forklift Operators for a newly launched 3PL distribution and logistics operation in Baytown, TX.
This is an active, production-paced logistics environment — not a low-volume warehouse role. Candidates must be comfortable working in fast-moving operations with continuous material movement, active docks, trailer traffic, shipping/receiving activity, and operational urgency throughout the shift.
What this role involves:
• Operating stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently in active logistics operations
• Supporting shipping, receiving, staging, loading, unloading, and material movement
• Working around active docks, trailers, warehouse traffic, and continuous forklift activity
• Supporting operational flow during active launch-phase logistics operations
• Assisting warehouse and dock operations beyond forklift tasks when operationally required
• Maintaining productivity, awareness, and operational pace throughout the shift
Required Experience:
• Recent daily hands-on stand-up forklift operating experience required
• Experience working in active 3PL logistics, distribution center, or high-volume logistics operations required
• Candidates must be comfortable operating forklifts in active, production-paced logistics environments
• Recent shipping & receiving experience required
• Material handling, staging, loading, and unloading experience required
• Candidates must be comfortable working around active docks, trailers, warehouse traffic, and continuous material movement
• Candidates must be comfortable getting on and off the forklift throughout the shift to support operational needs
• Attendance, reliability, and operational consistency are critical during launch-phase operations
• Basic RF scanner and/or WMS experience strongly preferred
Preferred Additional Experience:
• Dock operations experience
• Distribution center experience
• High-volume logistics operations experience
Additional Information:
• Stand-up forklift evaluation may be required prior to start
• Candidates must be comfortable supporting operational priorities beyond forklift operation when needed
• This is a physically active logistics environment requiring urgency, awareness, adaptability, and consistent productivity throughout the shift

Este es un ambiente logístico activo y de alto ritmo operativo — no es un warehouse de bajo volumen. Los candidatos deben sentirse cómodos trabajando en operaciones rápidas con movimiento continuo de materiales, docks activos, tráfico de trailers, operaciones de shipping/receiving y ritmo operativo constante durante todo el turno.
Lo que implica esta posición:
• Operar montacargas stand-up de manera segura y eficiente dentro de operaciones logísticas activas
• Apoyar en shipping, receiving, staging, carga, descarga y movimiento de materiales
• Trabajar alrededor de docks activos, trailers, tráfico warehouse y actividad continua de montacargas
• Apoyar el flujo operativo durante operaciones logísticas en fase de arranque
• Apoyar operaciones de almacén y dock más allá del montacargas cuando la operación lo requiera
• Mantener productividad, atención y ritmo operativo durante todo el turno
Experiencia requerida:
• Experiencia reciente y diaria operando montacargas stand-up de manera hands-on
• Experiencia trabajando en operaciones logísticas 3PL activas, centros de distribución o ambientes logísticos de alto volumen
• Deben sentirse cómodos operando montacargas dentro de ambientes logísticos activos y de alto ritmo
• Experiencia reciente en shipping & receiving requerida
• Experiencia en movimiento de materiales, staging, carga y descarga requerida
• Deben sentirse cómodos trabajando alrededor de docks activos, trailers, tráfico warehouse y movimiento continuo de materiales
• Deben sentirse cómodos subiéndose y bajándose constantemente del montacargas para apoyar necesidades operativas durante el turno
• Asistencia, confiabilidad y consistencia operativa son críticas durante la fase de arranque de operaciones
• Experiencia básica con RF scanners y/o sistemas WMS altamente preferida
Experiencia adicional preferida:
• Experiencia en operaciones de dock
• Experiencia en centros de distribución
• Experiencia en operaciones logísticas de alto volumen
Información adicional:
• Puede requerirse evaluación práctica de montacargas stand-up antes de iniciar
• Los candidatos deben sentirse cómodos apoyando prioridades operativas más allá del montacargas cuando se necesite
• Este es un ambiente logístico físicamente activo que requiere urgencia, atención, adaptabilidad y productividad constante durante todo el turno
