Job Title: Senior Chemist

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Chemist to lead advanced research, formulation, and analytical initiatives within a fast-growing, innovation-driven environment. This individual will play a critical role in developing and optimizing chemical products, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement across laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead formulation development, testing, and optimization of chemical products
• Design and execute experiments to support R&D initiatives and product innovation
• Oversee analytical testing using techniques such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, and other instrumentation
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, safety protocols, and quality systems
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and regulatory teams
• Troubleshoot complex chemical and process-related issues
• Mentor junior chemists and lab technicians
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and SOPs
• Support scale-up processes from lab to production

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field (Master’s or PhD preferred)
• 5–10+ years of relevant industry experience
• Strong background in formulation chemistry and analytical methods
• Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., FDA, GMP, ISO)
• Proven ability to lead projects and drive results independently
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities

Preferred Experience

• Experience in specialty chemicals, pharmaceuticals, cannabis/hemp, or consumer products
• Familiarity with quality systems and regulatory submissions
• Prior experience scaling formulations from R&D to commercial production
