Perform a variety of medical records technician duties which include the complete and accurate process and maintenance of hybrid (paper/electronic) environment of analyzing, filing, compiling, scanning, releasing information, retrieving and dispatching charts/documents, file managing, archiving Third Party, and entering data of treatment provided to patients within a complex health care facility.
Perform comprehensive review of the record.
Evaluate the record for documentation, consistency, accuracy and correlation of recorded data.
Analyze provider documentation to assure the appropriate codes Evaluation and Management levels are assigned using the correct codes and applicable modifiers.
Assure diagnostic and procedural terminology used is consistent with medical nomenclature.
Perform routine audits in accordance with Agency compliance plan.
