Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long Term Care travel contract in Lowville, NY. 13-week assignment, 12-hour day shifts, 36 guaranteed hours/week. Join a dedicated team delivering compassionate resident care in a scenic Adirondacks community.

Qualifications / Job Requirements
  • Active LPN license in New York State
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Long Term Care (LTC), skilled nursing, or related nursing setting
  • Current nursing certification (BLS/AHA preferred) and any facility-required credentials
  • Ability to work 12-hour day shifts for the duration of the travel contract
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and resident-centered care skills
  • Prior travel nurse or agency experience is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate, resident-centered care in a long term care / skilled nursing environment
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and follow medication administration protocols
  • Monitor resident health, recognize changes in condition, and report to the interdisciplinary healthcare team
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and promote independence and dignity
  • Accurately document care, observations, and interventions in the resident record
  • Collaborate with nurses, CNAs, therapists, and facility leadership to deliver high-quality care
