Job Description
Develops doctrine and requirements in planning and execution of system tests for Information Technology Systems and National Security Systems (ITS/NSS)
Oversees and directs conduct of tests to ensure adequacy of test functions to demonstrate system compliance with operational effectiveness, suitability, and interoperability issues and criteria.
Serves as an ad hoc/matrix team leader on large, complex, high visibility projects. Reviews the work effort of assigned civilian, military, and contractor personnel engaged in accomplishing Division functions.
Independently initiates contractual efforts for broad studies, instrumentation development, systems test planning, and test support for near term test needs and for projected/anticipated future test needs.
Determines the merit, feasibility and effectiveness of plans and designs involving new test concepts, major modification of test support systems and equipment, controversial issues, etc.
