The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, functions pertaining to the overall coordination of HR and HR training at the site.
Responsibilities include managing the day-to-day delivery of HR-services to employees of the distribution center, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies related to general employment and management practices, benefits and labor relations, providing direction, coaching, and counseling to managers and employees, compiling and updating HR data via the HRIS including new hires, terminations, performance management, and payroll information, maintaining structure, content, and integrity of employee files, developing and maintaining relationships with temporary and other employment agencies, developing orientation program for employees, demonstrating understanding of employee benefit plans and acting as a liaison between employees and Kenco Management Services as needed, responsible for training management and employees on employment-related matters including sexual harassment, progressive discipline, and performance coaching, monitoring progress toward completion of training goals, providing current reports to management pertaining to organizational structures, compiling data for managers and preparing various reports as requested, coordinating annual HR Improvement Plan, following all Safety and Environmental procedures, maintaining a high standard of housekeeping to ensure an orderly workstation/place, practicing safe work procedures, and following all safety rules at all times, working with Leadership Team to develop effective HR strategies, plans, and processes, and other duties as assigned to fulfill the needs of the customer and the business.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree (B.A./B.S.) in Human Resources or a related field, PHR or SPHR preferred, and five (5) or more years' experience as an HR Generalist.
Competencies include business acumen, communicate for impact, leading people, managing transitions/change management, relationship management, and strategic agility.
Travel Requirements include this position is expected to travel approximately 25% - 50%. A passport is not required, but recommended.
