Mercyhealth has a full-time Hematology/Medical Oncologist opportunity to join our excellent team in Rockford, Illinois .

Opportunity:

• Practice in the newly opened Cancer Institute (May 2025) located on the campus of Mercyhealth Javon Bea Hospital-Riverside in Rockford, IL
• Build your individual oncology practice as an employed physician with the support of operational leaders and a comprehensive multidisciplinary cancer team
• Outstanding referral system from primary care and specialty providers
• EPIC EMR with BEACON oncology module
• Vast multi-specialty referral sources
• 501c3 non-for-profit

Qualifications:

• Fellowship trained in Hematology/Medical Oncology
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in relevant field
• MD/DO board certified/board eligible
• Skilled at providing exceptional care
• The ability to communicate clearly and work as a member of a team

Compensation and Benefits:

• Highly competitive compensation: $575,000-$750,000
