About the Company A well-established, mission-driven food manufacturer with a strong U.S. retail brand presence and international supply chain operations across multiple global markets. This is a financially stable, growth-minded organization with significant recent infrastructure investment and a portfolio of recognized consumer brands in the plant-forward and Asian-inspired food space. The Opportunity This is a global food safety and regulatory compliance role — not a single-site QA position. You'll support food safety programs across an international network of manufacturing facilities, co-manufacturers, and supply chain partners, ensuring compliance with GFSI standards, FSMA regulations, and international import and export programs. You’ll serve as a key technical food safety resource working cross-functionally with R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, and Regulatory Affairs — and communicating regularly with international partners. Korean/English bilingual capability is required given the organization's international structure. What You'll Do Support implementation and ongoing management of global FSQA programs aligned with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements Ensure compliance with GFSI-recognized food safety schemes (SQF, FSSC 22000, BRCGS) across multiple international regions Assist with supplier quality management programs including audits, certifications, documentation review, and traceability Maintain HACCP/HARPC documentation and Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP) compliance Monitor global regulatory developments and support communication between HQ, supply chain partners, customers, and regulatory agencies Assist with preventive controls, food defense, and food fraud program implementation Support crisis management activities including product recall processes for imported products Develop and deliver training on GMPs, HACCP, FSMA, allergen control, and regulatory requirements Collaborate with R&D, Operations, and Legal during product development, commercialization, and international market expansion What We're Looking For Required: Fluency in Korean and English — this is a hard requirement 2–5 years of experience in food safety, QA, regulatory, or compliance roles within food manufacturing Hands-on experience with HACCP/HARPC programs Working knowledge of FSMA and preventive controls Familiarity with GFSI food safety standards (SQF, BRCGS, FSSC 22000) Experience with or exposure to FSVP and import compliance programs Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Food Engineering, or related discipline Preferred: Global regulatory exposure (North America and/or EU frameworks) Supplier audit and third-party compliance experience International supply chain or imported product experience PCQI certification HACCP certification GFSI or SQF Practitioner certification Why This Role Global scope — work across international supply chains, not limited to one facility Cross-functional exposure with R&D, regulatory affairs, supply chain, and operations Strong platform to build international regulatory expertise for future FSQA or regulatory leadership roles Leverage Korean/English bilingual skills as a genuine differentiator Stable, growth-minded manufacturer with recent capacity expansion Light international travel (~10%) with meaningful global exposure $75,000 – $85,000 base salary Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO, and paid holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr
