Primary Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 5-10 information security professionals in the accreditation activities of 25+ Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages
• Support the functions of the Information System Security Manager's (ISSM) office
• Interpret contractual requirements and develop/execute plans to meet the requirements
• Maintain schedules and meet externally driven deadlines
• Balance team workload and responsibilities
• Liaise between multiple contract companies to ensure cybersecurity requirements are being met
• Represent the interests of the government customer and the ISSM in meetings with representatives of the development, engineering and testing communities as well as from various government organizations such as Air Force Space Command, Headquarters Air Force and National Security Agency.
• As a section manager, establish goals and evaluate performance of subordinate staff.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 7 years of cybersecurity/IA/IT/project management experience
• Cybersecurity certification that meets 8570 IAM II requirements (CISSP, CISM, CASP, etc)
• Specific experience leading a team of highly skilled cybersecurity professionals
• Ability to manage multiple projects with flexible and varying deadlines
• Understanding of the RMF process
• Secret clearance

Desired Requirements

• Master's degree and 10+ years of cybersecurity/IA/IT/project management experience
• Direct experience in processing RMF packages through the Authorizing Official's office
• Experience in completing and analyzing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)
• Familiarity with eMASS database for recording RMF security controls
• Experience in testing IT systems for vulnerabilities and applying fixes and/or mitigations

• Experience in applying cybersecurity requirements to space mission systems

• Top Secret clearance with ability to quickly obtain SCI indoc
